Artscope says that Palamidessi calls the work "irregular, intimate, unpretentious, earthy, murky, [and] simple." Palamidessi's works include broken ceramic plates repaired via the Japanese art of kintsugi, and Petran has created a suspended wax-and-paper angel sculpture called "Siddhartha’’.
